The STIX - Motivation Through Music Process
STIX uses the metaphor of an orchestra to facilitate teambuilding and corporate motivation. We empower participants to experience the magic of performing the four elements of music (rhythm, harmony, melody and form) in an ensemble environment.
Groups of
as small as 20 to as large as thousands
actively engage in the process of creating a self-directed team. This is the challenge. Participants work in collaboration with each other and with other teams to meet the challenge of deciphering the STIX musical notation system - symbolistix
™ , developed to ensure no one is restricted by language or musical experience. The result is a high energy finale culminating in the emergence of a recognisable symphony.
By creating an orchestra and performing together teams are required to focus on the performance as an ensemble and not as soloists, delivering the message: "You can't whistle a symphony. It takes an orchestra to play it. " H.E. Luccock.
